PhD in Law from Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala; Master´s in Financial Law and Business from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Colombia, Colombia; Master´s in International Arbitration from Universidad Francisco Marroquín; Specialization course in Commercial Law from Universidad de Salamanca in Spain; BA in Legal and Social Sciences, Attorney and Notary from Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
From 2014 to date, he is founding partner of Signature Regional Law Group “Bonilla, Argueta, Zarceño & Alvarado” in Guatemala. From 2007 to 2014 he was partner at Argueta & Alvarado, Abogacía y Notariado in Guatemala. From 2015 to date he is part of a committee of investment arbitration in the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes ICSID. He was a legal adviser for several corporations and Director of Banco de Antigua from 1990-1994
Currently, he is fiduciary and professor at Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
