Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Universidad de Barcelona. Architect from Universidad Europea de Madrid and BA in the History of Art from UNED. Doctor of Medicine and Surgery specialized in Otorhinolaryngology by the Hospital Clínico de Barcelona since 1986. He introduced oncological surgery with laser in Mallorca in 1994. He also implemented other techniques such as palatoplasties, for snoring surgery, and the radiofrequency technique in the treatment of benign pathologies for improvement of nasal breathing. He has specialized in all techniques of nasal surgery, functional and restorative, being one of the pioneers in establishing nasal endoscopic surgery in Mallorca.
Chief of Section of the Otorhinolaryngology Service in the following health centers: Hospital de Berga, Gerona, Hospital General de Mallorca, Juaneda Clinic, Policlínica Miramar and Hospital de Inca.
In addition to his sanitary role, he is a collaborating professor in various teaching missions in Africa (Gambia, Cape Verde, Angola, Mozambique, Senegal) for twenty years.
