Jesús A. Valero-Matas is Professor of Sociology at the University of Valladolid, Doctor in Sociology. Sociology graduate. Graduate in Political Science and Administration. Master in Political Science and Constitutional Law. He has directed different research projects. He is credited with more than 100 articles in national and international indexed journals, 15 monographs and 30 book chapters. He has been a visiting researcher at various foreign universities such as The University of Edimburg, University of Auckland, Ben Gurion University, Georgetown University, Colorado School of Mines among others. He has been a visiting professor at UNAM, the Polytechnic Institute of Braganza, the University of Santiago de Compostela, the Catholic University of America, among others.
His main lines of research are: the sociology of education, analysis and study of scientific learning, sociology of religion, sociology of science and sociology of migratory movements.
