PhD in Architecture from Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM). She is a professor of Architectural Projects in the School of Architecture, Engineering and Design from Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM). Beforehand, she was a professor of Architectural Projects in ETSAM / Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) from 1989-1990 to 2002-2003. She has been a guest professor in CEU and in Universidad de Navarra and has conducted courses, seminars and conferences in different universities in Spain and abroad.
Currently she is part of a teaching innovation project in the center of innovation and excellence for global education from UEM.
Her professional experience is set primarily in teaching and the free practice of Architecture. In 1985 she established jointly with Alberto Martínez, a fellow colleague, the studio: MATOS CASTILLO ARQUITECTOS.
