Founding member and Legal Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Finance Guatemala-Brazil (2002). Member of the Inter-American Association of Industrial Property -ASIPI- (2000). Member of the Inter-American Copyright Institute -IIDA- (2000). Member of the Institute for Justice (1999). President of the Board of Directors of the Guatemalan Association for Human Rights (1996). Founding member and President of the Guatemalan Institute of Commercial Law.
